Did you know using Rich Pins on Pinterest can really make your products stand out? These pins show extra details like the ‘Best Seller’ badge right on the pin, which means more people see what you’re offering and are more likely to interact. If you run a website, adding Rich Pins could really change the game for you.

Rich Pins are the upgraded version of regular Pins. They offer extra details that stay with the Pin as it’s shared. There are three types: article, product, and recipe. By adding metadata to your site, your Pins become more useful and engaging for users.

How to Tell if a Website is Claimed on Pinterest

Not sure if a website is claimed on Pinterest? Here’s how to check:

  1. Check the Profile
Visit the Pinterest profile and look for the website URL in the bio section. If it’s clickable and has a checkmark, the website is claimed.
  2. Look at Pins Linking to the Website
Pins linking to a claimed website will show a small icon (favicon) next to the link. This indicates ownership.
  3. Check Account Settings (For Your Own Profile)
If it’s your account, go to Settings > Claimed Accounts. If the website appears there, it’s claimed.
  4. Google Search
Search for the website and Pinterest together (e.g., example.com Pinterest). If the site is claimed, the associated Pinterest profile often appears in the results.

Your site is now ready for Rich Pins, increasing your Pinterest presence.

Rich Pins are a powerful tool to enhance the interaction of Pinterest users with your blog. By providing more context directly on the pin, they can drive higher traffic to your site and increase the overall engagement with your content.
